Ilgiz started his career as a Maths teacher in a secondary school. In 2011 he got his PG Certificate in Project Management from University of California. In 2014 he became a Managing Partner in a Chain of Tuition Centres in Russia. His next endeavour was the school headship in the city of Innopolis – an innovative school project headlined by the Russian Federal Ministry of Communications. In 2017 he returned to be a Partner in a Chain of Tuition Centres which since then has grown to 3000 students. From 2018 onwards Ilgiz is a Senior Partner at Warwick Projects Educational Consultancy.
